Hello Mike Thanks for generating this very important module. I am new to RPI and got RPI3 model B I tried using your module, trying simply the blink led experiment, but id doesn't work. It doesn't get any failure, but yet no activity on GPIO pins. I tried few GPIO pins, using module's constants, just integer (i.e. 21,40) but nothing happens. I just noticed the when writing 1 and writing 0, uses different address, but writes something like 00020000... I tried using the python example and it worked fine, but I would really work in my real native language which is perl. I just want to mention that I first installed version 1.0 of the modules, but then installed the latest (after found them...). Maybe the update didn't happen correctly? Thank you and hope for answer. Good day Oren

Should I uninstall somehow the initial version prior to installing the latest? On Sun, Jul 23, 2017 at 3:17 PM, Oren Levy <sloren@gmail.com> wrote: Show quoted text

That should not be necessary, but perhaps you should make a search to ensure there is only one libbcm2835.a installed on your system. Cheers. Show quoted text
