Subject: No interface to request en passant info
I am currently using $chess_rep->{enpa} (violating encapsulation) to determine which column holds a pawn that can be captured en passant. It would be nice if there were a documented, future-compatible way to do this.

Father, Forgive me for my sins. I have used Perl, it's true, but this was years ago. I no longer maintain this project, for I am now enlightened and I've rewritten it in Common Lisp: https://github.com/mishoo/queen.lisp I would be glad to pass over maintainership of this module, if any Perl sinners are interested.
