Looks like a bug in Perl that has been fixed in 5.16: https://rt.perl.org//Public/Bug/Display.html?id=108994 Luckily the bug report contains a work around. Published 0.54 with a fix. Thanks for showing that someone actually cares about this :) I was tempted to ignore the CPAN Testers reports...
