Hi Catan people!
I've been having a problem which I think is a bug since I can't find anything that explains this nor does it seem to make sense with the rest of the game.
Here's an example, the barbarians land, there are 5 cities, 5 knights, I have 1 city as do 2 other computer players, and the barbarians win? Why?
This has happened a few times and I cannot work out or find anything to explain under what conditions something like this would occur. As we understand it, if you have the same or greater number of knights as cities the barbarians lose. If one player had more Knights than the player(s) with less than them, that player receives a victory point. In this example if one player had 2 Knights and 3 players had 1 each, that player gets a VP. If 2. Players have 2 Knights, 1 player has 1 knight and the last player had zero Knights, then the 2 players that had 2 Knights get a card and the other 2 get a "pass" to the next round as the barbarians were conquered. And so on.
What I cannot find is anything that explains when / why when the knight to city ratio is equal, 3 of 4 players lose a city?
What do you think? Bug or obscure Unknown rule?
Screen shots attached. Thanks so much!
