Subject: Feature Request: Type of time work
We currently use a custom field so that staff can record the "type" of time being worked when they enter time worked. For example: phone support, email support, on-site support. This is then used to bill the client QuickAddTimeWorked is very nice, but would be very useful to us if we could also record the "type" of time. Thanks

Yes, it's useful to add more information per transaction for time tracking. I think it would be difficult to add to this extension without the configuration getting too complicated. However, it could be added as a customization for your RT using a transaction custom field. If you have technical resources, you could do this yourself. You could also contact Best Practical (the makers of RT) to see what it would take to create a custom extension for you.
