I wanted to test something simple by passing an XML string, but I couldn't. Didn't want to use LibXML docs so I was forced to specify the exact filename to compare. Either allow an XML string or filehandle/variable so the filename doesn't have to be hardcoded in the compare() call. Not urgent, but would be nice.
