Subject: I<> not emphasized when used with Pod::Text::Termcap
When used with Pod::Text::Termcap, I<> is not emphasized. It appears that at line 278 Pod::Usage.pm overrides the definition of cmd_i in Pod::Text::Termcap, thus inhibiting the formatting... Reproducer attached. Note that perldoc -F usage underlines the word 'italic' and makes the word 'bold' red (on my PuTTY terminal). Running 'usage' fails to underline 'italic', but does make the word 'bold' red. Running 'usage' should underline 'italic'. modver Pod::Simple Pod::Text Pod::Text::Termcap Pod::Usage Pod::Simple => 3.35 Pod::Text => 4.09 Pod::Text::Termcap => 4.09 Pod::Usage => 1.69
