Subject: Automatically detect libnetcdf.so on debian systems
On newer debian-like systems (e.g. debian/stretch or Ubuntu 16.04) libnetcdf.so is found in a arch-dependent location like /usr/lib/x86_64-linux-gnu. It would be nice if the Makefile.PL would detect this location automatically.
