Hi Chip.
In the docs you write:
The default invocant, currently $self, ...
You should probably note in the docs that a default $self *isn't* a Perl 6 feature. Currently (until Larry sorts out the mess of default invocants) the spec still states that the default invocant is $_.
Unless, of course, you intend it to be a kind of Jedi mind trick on Larry. ;-)
