There's an increase of fail reports in the last weeks, see http://matrix.cpantesters.org/?dist=Net-Ping;reports=1#sl=7,1 It seems that the tests against geocities.com started to be unreliable.

Oh yes, I agree. Didn't they go out of business by now? I guess "www.geocities.com" was considered a lot more reliable in 2001 when I added this test. Sorry about that. Okay, I already fixed Net::Ping to never use geocities.com anymore. Reini, can you apply my pull request? It's already on github for you: https://github.com/rurban/net-ping/pull/3 Or if you want to add me as a collaborator, my github user is "hookbot" instead of "bbb".
