If this is intentional, it would be cool if you could declare your requirement. That way the FAILS are converted to UNKNOWNS. Hello, This is because of the "package BLOCK" feature which was officially introduced in 5.14. I'm already working on a new version (2.0) in which I removed the blocks from the packages. This should fix the issues for older Perl versions.
