Subject: Either explictly use 5.010; or restore Perl 5.8 compatibility
On Perl 5.8 the error message is vague to Perl newbies who do not know about //= See https://metacpan.org/source/EHUELS/Template-Plugin-Latex-3.1/lib/Template/Plugin/Latex.pm#L69 There are several places in this file.
