The sigmoid activation function doesn't work at all. This is because the sigmoid_slope function is missing. This will be fixed in the next release.
The documentation should reflect that the results from this sigmoid function are a little unreliable. It doesn't seem to converge at all on XOR, so its usefulness may be limited.
