| Subject: | Text::BibTex doesn't understand "conference" entry |
hello,
i'm trying to test Text::BibTex module so I installed the latest version trhough cpan and then I ran the btcheck program in the package on my thesis bibliography
some example of the error
/home/dse/bibtest.bib, lines 7867-7871: required field 'booktitle' not present
/home/dse/bibtest.bib, lines 8031-8035: required field 'publisher' not present
/home/dse/bibtest.bib, lines 8031-8035: required field 'year' not present
/home/dse/bibtest.bib, lines 8072-8076: unknown entry type "conference"
/home/dse/bibtest.bib, lines 8098-8103: unknown entry type "conference"
/home/dse/bibtest.bib, lines 8224-8228: unknown entry type "conference"
/home/dse/bibtest.bib, lines 8260-8264: unknown entry type "conference"
but latex and bibtex parsed it without any problem
my distribution :
mandrake 10.0
kernel 2.6.3-7mdk (linux x86)

This is perl, v5.8.3 built for i386-linux-thread-multi
