I am experiencing incorrect calculations for the Rx Level and Rx Relative
values when I change the antenna heights using the Radio Link page. The
PathLoss calculation appears correct, but somehow the Rx level doesn’t
seem to reflect the correct value.
For example, if I set the Tx and Rx antenna heights to 10m in the Networks
Properties and run a Radio Link analysis I get:
Path Loss = 193.9 dB
Rx level = -153.9 dBm
Rx Relative = -60.9 dB
If I manually change both of the heights to 100m in the Radio Link window,
the analysis results are:
Path Loss = 143.3 dB
Rx level = -283.3 dBm
Rx Relative = -190.3 dB
If I change the heights to 100m in the Network Properties window, the
analysis results are:
Path Loss = 143.3 dB
Rx level = -103.3 dBm
Rx Relative = -10.3 dB
The Rx level and Rx Relative are different for the two 100m cases which
have identical Path Loss values.
