Subject: Invalid NSCA_PACKET_VERSION
I'm using the package Net::NSCA-1.5 modification-date 11-22-2001 Nagios: Version 1.2 nsca version 2.4 perl version 5.8.5 for passive checks from different servers by using the method send_message. The message is send but does not appear in nagios The debugging information of the nsca deamon in the syslog says: Received invalid packet type/version from client - possibly due to client using wrong password or crypto algorithm? The error is due to the invalid NSCA_PACKET_VERSION transmitet by the module not 2 but 3 is the right value.

This can't really be changed in this module, as version 3 of the packet is slightly different. This module actually sends version 2 of the packet.
