Reason is iiuc that 1.35 now uses namespace:autoclean which is found by perl in ./inc/. It is the dated version 0.12 (current is 0.28). When this happens, Moose discovers that half of it has been loaded from ./inc/ and throws the towel.
Very educational example about Module::Install's evil. Priceless:)
