Hi Team Fldigi,
First of all I want to thank the team for a SUPER JOB!! Well done team
thank you for your efforts. You have the best Digital software out there
for functionality and excellent performance.. Thank you all for your time
and effort. I have nothing but respect and admiration for programmers. I
know enough about programming to admire you all. Thank you..
Just recently, I've run into a bug in fldigi macros. There are two issues
I've discovered using Windows 10, I created a MACRO called *netroster.txt*
I built the file with Windows Notepad (plain text). When I create the Macro
this is what it looks like:
ISSUE #1
================================>>
<TX>
DE AAA0IDX
<FILE:C:\Users\bliss\net-roster.txt>
BT
NNNN
<RX>
===================================>>
If I save the file name as net-roster.txt it adds a second .txt to the end
of the file name inside the macro. When I select the path to the file this
is what it does when it enters the path:
===================================>>
<TX>
DE AAA0IDX
<FILE:C:\Users\bliss\Documents\net-roster.txt.txt>
BT
NNNN
<RX>
===================================>>
If I remove the .txt on the end of the file then it only enters a single
.txt in the file path when I select the file named "net-roster" and the
Macro works until I save the Macro then close fldigi and reopen it.
===================================>>
ISSUE #2
When I save the Macro and exit the fldigi program then renter fldigi, it
corrupts the path in the <FILE:> statement, this is what it looks like:
==================================>>
<TX>
DE AAA0IDX
<FILE:C:\Users\bliss\Documentset-roster.txt>
BT
NNNN
<RX>
====================================>>
The *\n* in the <FILE:C:\Users\bliss\Documentset-roster.txt> path is
missing and the Macro fails to work.
I've used installs on two different computer systems with the same results.
I hope you can duplicate the issue from the information I've provided.
Thank you all again for a job well done. You're all the Best.
Respectfully,
Bliss Wheeler
