Recognizing card types has become a more quickly-moving target, especially the last few years.
Business::CCCheck is about ten years out-of-date with these changes, from Discover's 65xx (around 2006) to MasterCard's new 2221-2720 range becoming active later this year, and most things in between AFAICT.
Also, country-specific "processing agreements" now mean that card type identification is country-specific in 99% of use-cases. Any identification code that doesn't take the country into account is probably misleadingly flawed.
You're of course welcome to lift our code in B:CreditCard under its free license, but that seems like a less-than-optimal solution unless you are committed to merging updates regularly.
Perhaps we could cooperate more closely? Have B:CCCheck use B:CreditCard for card type recognition? Pool our efforts and merge the two modules? Let's talk. :)
