Subject: Implementing File::FcntlLock::Any
In <https://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=677865#177> there was a proposal to create either a magic File::FcntlLock which would fall back to the pureperl implementation, or a File::FcntlLock::Any doing the same thing. I favour the latter approach, for the least surprise and because it's a fairly niche requirement. I created a new bug, <https://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=827074> to track this requirement. I expect that someone from the Debian side can pick this up, but any feedback on this plan, and/or implementation, is of course welcome. Thanks again for all the work you have done towards getting this resolved. Best wishes, Dominic.
