The problem will manifest indirectly via DBIx::Class::Tree::NestedSet as described in https://rt.cpan.org/Ticket/Display.html?id=114440. If there is a patched version of DBIC::T::NS in @INC - then the tests of Bio::Chado::Schema pass just fine.
