Subject: Dependency on Exception is problematic
The Exceptions distribution ( https://metacpan.org/release/Exceptions ) looks unmaintained (no release since 1996) and has no passes on CPAN Testers (see http://matrix.cpantesters.org/?dist=Exceptions+0.01 ). Probably you should use another exception-handling module.
