Subject: Installing module hangs at "generator.t"
Date: Sun, 5 Jun 2016 09:15:49 -0400
To: bug-Net-SSH-Perl [...] rt.cpan.org
From: Winn Phillips <winn.phillips [...] gmail.com>
I'm attempting to install the Net::SSH::Perl module via CPAN, but it hangs at *t/generator.t.....1/18* and never finishes. I assume this has something to do with the hardware? It's a single-board computer (Pine64: www.pine64.com), if that makes any difference.

t/generator.t does not seem to be part of Net-SSH-Perl. Probably it's in one of its dependencies. Can you check which dependency is built at this moment? (I found a t/generator.t in Crypt-Random --- though I cannot see that Crypt-Random is a dependency of Net-SSH-Perl. If it's Crypt-Random, then I guess that you have problems with too less entropy. An entropy generator could help in this case)
Hi, not that I think *this* issue would be gone but anyway, just a heads-up that I just uploaded a new v2.12. Maybe there is hope just by accidence. Kind regards, Steffen On Fri Jun 10 13:32:01 2016, SREZIC wrote: Show quoted text
