When running Gearman-Client-Async-0.94 tests against Gearman-1.12.007, I see warning about undefined $rv in Gearman/Util.pm at line 226 in send_req() subroutine: + make test PERL_DL_NONLAZY=1 "/usr/bin/perl" "-MExtUtils::Command::MM" "-MTest::Harness" "-e" "undef *Test::Harness::Switches; test_harness(0, 'blib/lib', 'blib/arch')" t/*.t Use of uninitialized value $rv in numeric eq (==) at /usr/share/perl5/vendor_perl/Gearman/Util.pm line 226. t/allinone.t ...... ok t/async.t ......... ok t/err2.t .......... ok t/err4.t .......... ok Use of uninitialized value $rv in numeric eq (==) at /usr/share/perl5/vendor_perl/Gearman/Util.pm line 226. Job 'sleep_for' died: work_status write failed at /usr/share/perl5/vendor_perl/Gearman/Worker.pm line 41. Use of uninitialized value $rv in numeric eq (==) at /usr/share/perl5/vendor_perl/Gearman/Util.pm line 226. This did not happen with Gearman-1.12.
because 'use warnings' was added in v1.12.007
this issue is fixed in Gearman-1.12.008
