Subject: MakeMaker xs_o section and nmake
EU::MM-6.25_08 Perl 5.8.6 Windows 2000 On Win32, sub xs_o() in MM_Win32 currently returns ''. This doesn't work with nmake and dmake. If the subroutine returns the same as sub xs_o() in MM_Unix, then that works fine with nmake. If the subroutine returns the same as sub xs_o() in MM_Win95, then that also works fine with nmake. I still haven't found a way of writing sub xs_o() that works properly with dmake - at this stage it looks like a deficiency with dmake.

What do you mean by not working properly? What does the failure look like?
Have you checked to see if this worked with older versions of MakeMaker? As far as I can see its always been this way so I'm inclined not to touch it just now (in the interest of getting a stable release out).
Is this still a problem?
No response since last solicitation. Closing ticket.
