Hi, I have tried installing "saftsumm" from Log-Saftpresse-1.3 on a Debian 8 system, using as many of the standard Debian perl packages as possible. Running "perl Makefile.PL" completes with one warning: root@vmail:~/saftsumm/Log-Saftpresse-1.3# perl Makefile.PL Checking if your kit is complete... Looks good Warning: prerequisite Search::Elasticsearch 0 not found. Generating a Unix-style Makefile Writing Makefile for Log::Saftpresse Writing MYMETA.yml and MYMETA.json I assume this is a warning only, since it does complete the configuration run? make/make install is fine. Then, running saftsumm fails: root@vmail:~/saftsumm/Log-Saftpresse-1.3# saftsumm -d yesterday /var/log/mail.info Can't call method "info" on an undefined value at /usr/local/share/perl/5.20.2/Log/Saftpresse/PluginContainer.pm line 32. Thank you for reporting this bug. The logging is not initialized in saftsumm. I just fixed the bug and will push a new release.
