Well, yeah. This module needs a locally installed "gdb" ... and skipped: no GDB found was registered as FAIL sometimes. There are other test failures as well, right .... but, TBH, they don't bother me, because in interactive use it still works as expected - it's just that the things it tries to find in the compiled binary depend on compiler optimizations, and I guess that newer GCCs just prevent the tests from working. Perhaps I should just kill the tests ... the module works as expected.
