Subject: harmful to testers, delete this tarball from CPAN
This module conflicts with CPAN.pm's CPAN::Index and this module is also an unauthorized release (ANDK first-come, DAGOLDEN co-maint) http://search.cpan.org/dist/CPAN-Index/ and therefore this module/tarball existing is wrong, not that CPAN.pm is wrong. This module breaks CPAN shell on any CPANTester that installs everything it builds, example of failure ---------------------------------- CPAN::Index version 1.93 required--this is only version 0.01 at C:/Perl64-5.16/lib/CPAN.pm line 28. BEGIN failed--compilation aborted at C:/Perl64-5.16/lib/CPAN.pm line 28. Compilation failed in require at Makefile.PL line 104. ---------------------------------- http://ppm4.activestate.com/MSWin32-x64/5.16/1600/B/BU/BULKDD/other/XSConfig-6.14.d/log-20160205T021744.txt There is also a 2nd report of this tarball breaking CPANTesters https://rt.cpan.org/Ticket/Display.html?id=43349#txn-754914 This module needs to be deleted from CPAN ASAP.
