yEd::Document 1.01 includes support for "basic grouping" through relative node positioning, but these groups are not real yEd groups and do not take on group behaviours in post-editing. Also, the technique involves calculating layout in code, which is complex. I have had a lot of success with yEd::Document by completely ignoring positioning and running auto-layout in yEd as a post-editing step. Please add support for grouping nodes and the corresponsing GraphML output. Thanks!

I could use this feature, too! If you do not have enough time or resources to implement this, I could use a hint where and how to best implement it and do it myself. Thanks Marc
