Subject: Does not work with Apache2, authen_cred() not working
Jacob - authen_cred() returns 'bad' instead of null, breaking the credential checking. Does not work with Apache2. Attached is my updated AuthCookieDBI.pm including added documentation and the bug fixes for the above. WARNING - the Apache2 updates may prevent this module from working on Apache 1.x. Let me know if you want to apply & upload the patch. If not, I will continue to modify/update as needed during this project & upload a new distribution next month. Best Regards, Lance Cleveland Charleston Software Associates

Hi, I'm the new maintainer of Apache::AuthCookieDBI and for some reason CPAN isn't yet sending me the email about the module, but I hope to have that sorted out soon. Meanwhile, I do have a version of AuthCookieDBI that I use under Apache 2 with mod_perl 2, and I can send you a tar file if you like. -Matisse [guest - Wed Jan 19 20:06:18 2005]: Show quoted text

I'm still having trouble getting CPAN to let me be the mainatainer on this module so I'm attaching a Apache2/mod_perl 2 version to this posting.

Closing this one out - version 2.0 and later support MP2, but as of 2.03 the module is in the new Apache2::* namespace, and future versions will continue from there.
