Hello.
The default port for a Gearman server is now 4730, not 7003.
The Gearman perl modules (and presumably other language modules, too) should be updated to use the new port by default 4730.
The failure of jobs to be appropriately registered with a server when they are attempting to use the wrong port is also much more silent than I would have expected.
