In Debian we are currently applying the attached patch to POE-Component-Jabber. We thought you might be interested in it, too. Description: silence "given / when is experimental" warnings this is necessarily ugly to make it compatible with older perls, see http://blogs.perl.org/users/mike_b/2013/06/a-little-nicer-way-to-use-smartmatch-on-perl-518.html Author: Florian Schlichting <fsfs@debian.org> Note that POE-Component-Jabber uses smartmatch in non-trivial ways, so may actually be affected should smartmatch become less smart in the future.
