Thanks for the info!
Back in the old days when this module was developed, i11n was something
very exotic and that pragma didn't even exist (at least not to my
knowledge). ISO-Latin-1 was the implicit standard.
I will try not to forget to include your patch whenever I should find the
time to make a new release.
Right now this is unfortunately not possible (and at least for another year
or so to come), a small baby is underway, who already keeps us very busy
(threat of extremely premature birth)! :-)
