This is using cpanm 1.7039 on an almost fresh installation of perl-5.22.0 on perlbrew 0.73. System is Ubuntu 14.04.2 LTS, x86_64. Attached is the build log. Error is at test 03-attribute.t, but I cannot make sense of it: Can't use string ("ANON") as a symbol ref while "strict refs" in use at /home/fernan/.cpanm/work/1435693509.16650/Params-Validate-1.20/blib/lib/Attribute/Params/Validate.pm line 45. INIT failed--call queue aborted. t/03-attribute.t ........................ Dubious, test returned 255 (wstat 65280, 0xff00) No subtests run -- fernan

If you look at https://travis-ci.org/autarch/Params-Validate you'll see that tests do pass with Perl 5.22.0. Can you include your "perl -V" output so I can see if there's anything unusual there. It'd also be helpful to see the entire build log, not just the snippet where it fails.
