Subject: | Please consider different license than Artistic |
Current code is licensed under the terms of Artistic license. From README:
This program is free software; you can redistribute it and/or modify
it under the terms of the Artistic License, a copy of which can be
found with perl.
As I understand, it's the original Artistic 1 license <http://dev.perl.org/licenses/artistic.html>.
Unfortunately this license is not acceptable for some parties, e.g. Fedora Linux distribution, because it's too vague <http://www.gnu.org/licenses/license-list.html#ArtisticLicense>.
Could you please consider changing license conditions of this software to something else. For example either the Artistic 2.0 license or dual-licensing with GNU GPL as Perl does <http://dev.perl.org/licenses/>?
