Hi Nicolas,
POE::Component::Jabber depends on POE::Component::PubSub which has
been removed from CPAN. The last release of POE::Component::PubSub
additionally depends on POEx::Role::SessionInstantiation which again
has been removed from CPAN.
https://rt.cpan.org/Public/Bug/Display.html?id=69745 shows that at
least POEx::Role::SessionInstantiation was never meant for production
and has been removed from CPAN to avoid further use or spreading.
I assume that POE::Component::PubSub has been removed because it
depends on POEx::Role::SessionInstantiation.
Shouldn't then POE::Component::Jabber be retired for the same reason?
Or are there plans to replace its POE::Component::PubSub with
POEx::PubSub in POE::Component::Jabber since POEx::PubSub seems to be
te predecessor of POE::Component::PubSub? (At least the repository
name "pcps" on Github suggests that it initially was the Git
repository for POE::Component::PubSub. :-)
Regards, Axel
