Many thanks for your bug report. This is already fixed in the latest development version: http://search.cpan.org/~capttofu/DBD-mysql-4.032_01/lib/DBD/mysql.pm#INSTALLATION I think it's about time we release 4.033 with this fix in it, as 'stable'. -- Michiel

It looks like the document is actually called DBD::mysql::INSTALL.
