Subject: [PATCH] fix pod(2man) glitches
In Debian we are currently applying the following patch to Pod-PseudoPod. We thought you might be interested in it too. Description: fix pod(2man) glitches Origin: vendor Author: gregor herrmann <gregoa@debian.org> Last-Update: 2015-05-30 The patch is tracked in our Git repository at https://anonscm.debian.org/cgit/pkg-perl/packages/libpod-pseudopod-perl.git/plain/debian/patches/pod.patch Thanks for considering, gregor herrmann, Debian Perl Group
Here's the patch.

Hi Gregor, Sorry for the delay, I'm unsure whether to apply the patch. The Tutorial serves the purpose of an example of using the PsuedoPod format, in addition to explaining how it works. This patch makes the Tutorial follow the manpage format instead of the PsuedoPod format. So, I'm undecided whether to apply it. The ideal solution would be to expand the documentation in the actual manpage text (in lib/Pod/PseudoPod.pm) so it can serve as the manpage in Debian, instead of using the Tutorial for this purpose. (I haven't looked closely at the Debian package yet, but I think that'll give you what you need.) I'll try to do that soon. Allison

Oh, I see. Makes sense. Show quoted text

Ok. In this case it might make sense to ship (on the CPAN and in Debian) Tutorial.pod as an example instead of installing it (and the automatically created manpage)? Cheers, gregor -- .''`.
