Hi Sarah: The example under: authenticate_user - Attempts auth and then returns a hashref starts off with: get '/auth/user' => sub but if you look it's missing the initial curly bracket should be: get '/auth/user' => sub { Also I'm very impressed with the detail as I don't see that very often anymore in frameworks. I'm still going through all of it but so far I haven't figured out how you get an initial user inserted into the "users" table as I honestly doubt you can just manually put it in or folks would do all kinds of goofy stuff.
