Subject: Is Archive::Tar preferred or required?
Documentation states Archive::Tar is preferred over tar executable however. If I uninstall Archive::Tar and keep tar on the system, Archive::Extract warns "You do not have 'Archive::Tar' installed - Please install it as soon as possible." It makes the tar executable option a second class citizen. Is there any reason why not to make Archive::Tar hard unconditional dependency?
