Subject: plain text vs. HTML
We have the following bug reported to the Debian package of XML-FeedPP (https://bugs.debian.org/781867): It doesn't seem to be a bug in the packaging, so you may want to take a look. Thanks! ------8<-----------8<-----------8<-----------8<-----------8<----- Package: libxml-feedpp-perl Version: 0.43-1 Severity: wishlist File: /usr/share/man/man3/XML::FeedPP.3pm.gz We read $feed->description( $html ); This method sets/gets the feed's "description" element in plain text or HTML, returning its current value when $html is undefined. It is mapped to "content" element for Atom 0.3/1.0. Please mention how to make it return text or make it return HTML? Or say This method sets/gets the feed's "description" element. Remeber to use plain text or HTML when setting. When getting it just gets whatever is there, be it HTML or plain text. if I understand this correctly. ------8<-----------8<-----------8<-----------8<-----------8<----- Thanks for considering, gregor herrmann, Debian Perl Group
