Subject: Linter finds error in Net::Telnet::Cisco version 1.10
Date: Fri, 13 Mar 2015 14:13:08 -0700
To: bug-Net-Telnet-Cisco [...] rt.cpan.org
From: Scott Baker <bakers [...] canbytel.com>
My vim automatically runs a code linter when I save. Whenever I'm in a Perl script that calls Net::Telnet::Cisco I get the following error: /usr/local/share/perl5/Net/Telnet/Cisco.pm|756| perl: Use of /g modifier is meaningless in split This error is against version 1.10, and Perl 5.18. Removing the *g* from this line seems pretty clear, and solves the problem. -- Scott Baker - Canby Telcom Senior System Administrator - RHCE
