When attempting to install IMAPClient on a CPanel server, I encounter the following error preventing installation: Creating new 'Build' script for 'Parse-RecDescent' version '1.967009' OK Checking dependencies from _build/prereqs ... Failed to upconvert metadata to 1.1. Errors: Missing mandatory field, 'version' (version) [Validation: 1.0] at /loader/0xd0ca98/App/cpanminus/script.pm line 2475 Perl Expect failed with non-zero exit status: 65280 It appears that when CPanel is processing the installation, it requires the 'version' field in the metadata or it aborts the installation. Hi, It looks like you got this (environmental/server issue) resolved via https://rt.cpan.org/Ticket/Display.html?id=102702 Closing as invalid as it wasn't an issue with Mail::IMAPClient.
