The issue is that "same terms as Perl itself" means "GPL+ or Artistic" <http://dev.perl.org/licenses/> what's not the latter "GPLv2+ or Artistic".
Because everywhere else you refer or quote GPLv2, I believe the first quotation is just a mistake.
Please clarify this issue.
