Hi Florian,
I created a fork of LWP::Protocol::http::SocketUnix a while back, it contains two changes:
· remedy 'No Host options provided' error
As suggested in https://rt.cpan.org/Public/Bug/Display.html?id=65670
· allow specifying URI path
Currently using "//" as separator, e.g.: "http:path/to/unix.socket//uri/path"
and wonder if you are interested in merging this back to LWP::Protocol::http::SocketUnix, or perhaps you are okay with letting me become a co-maintainer, or other options?
