Subject: Modification of large PDF

To: bug-PDF-API2 [...] rt.cpan.org
From: Andre Stinner <andre.stinner [...] texsib.com>
Hello! I try to modify very large .pdf files. Is there a max size? The input file is about 10 meters x 10meters (or 7meters x 7meters) , while processing my script i print the length and width. The print returns always the same: 5.35m x 5.35m. Hi André, Please use stackoverflow.com for support questions. For best results, include sample code that shows the problem you're having. I'm not aware of a size limit for PDFs, but it's possible that one exists. PDF viewers may also have their own limits. Hope this helps, Steve Simms

Some sources suggest there is a poorly documented 200 inch (5.08m) PDF-defined limit to a page (width or height). Are you trying to produce a /single page/ 10m in dimensions? Look at https://answers.acrobatusers.com/Maximum-Acrobat-page-size-q143051.aspx . You say your result is 5.35m? I wouldn't know why you're getting a little over the possible 200 inch limit, if that /is/ what's limiting you.

Steve, Please remove -- was meant as update to bug 101948, and RT is apparently very picky about Subject line format! On 7/1/2015 11:57 AM, Bugs in PDF-API2 via RT wrote: Show quoted text
