Here is a pair of tests with the same perl versions on the same smoker resulting in pass and fail:

I could dig up some more and it just happened in front of my eyes but the reports have not yet arrived at cpantesters. There is already a report #84928 for a dependency to have random behaviour due to hash randomisation in perl 5.17.6, the data seem to indicate that the randomness also hits this module.
