Subject: Depedency Alias.pm is problematic
Alias.pm seems to be unsupported and does not build anymore for newer perls (5.13 and newer). See http://matrix.cpantesters.org/?dist=Alias+2.32 for an overview. Maybe there's another alternative to Alias.pm?

Thanks for the issue, and sorry for being late. For newer perls, the patch here ( https://rt.cpan.org/Ticket/Display.html?id=64987 ) may be useful (it passed my test under perl 5.20). The issue is not closed, however. I'll try some alternative in later versions.

Replaced aliases based on Perl API with evaluated Perl code.
