I cannot reproduce a problem with a later commit (v5.21.6-482-g4245fea).

Maybe just a WM issue or a TCL version issue? My two fail reports are at v5.21.6-341-gf92b363 http://www.cpantesters.org/cpan/report/04252e5a-8024-11e4-a8ea-b3395ef060ad v5.21.6-482-g4245fea http://www.cpantesters.org/cpan/report/94abd378-8378-11e4-b98d-84125ef060ad In both cases the test that fails is wm-tcl with these tests: t/wm-tcl.t (Wstat: 768 Tests: 315 Failed: 3) Failed tests: 71, 117, 242 TODO passed: 86-87, 154-157, 164-165, 175-178, 221-224 237-239, 264-265, 275-276, 280-283 Non-zero exit status: 3 -- andreas

It looks like a WM issue, but a rather unusual one. What WM are you running (unfortunately 00wmcheck.t could not detect it), or is it WM-less? Is a Xvfb or Xnest or vncserver or a normal X server involved?

But I could just generate passes with v5.21.6-506-gcd9d242 and v5.21.6-507-g33f91fd. All chances open again that this is a heisenbug. -- andreas

I'll mark this ticket as resolved, as the one issue (problems with threaded perls) should be fixed with the 804.032_501 release. For the other issue currently I have no idea; maybe I should try to reproduce this on a system as similar as yours --- I assume this is debian/sid?

Yes, debian/sid FAIL http://www.cpantesters.org/cpan/report/04252e5a-8024-11e4-a8ea-b3395ef060ad uname='linux k83 3.16.0-4-amd64 #1 smp debian 3.16.7-2 (2014-11-06) x86_64 gnulinux ' But as I said later, the bug has diappeared for me. My smoker just sent passes for v5.21.8-126-g2f05d20 and v5.21.8-141-g8e0a1bb. -- andreas
