Subject: existing README.(md|pod) should pass has_readme test
Several CPAN authors don't want to be limited to plain text when writing information about the distribution / repository. Some used web-sites allow markdown, some developers prefer utf-8 supporting POD, ... Please be more flexible what satisfies has_readme - by supporting most used tools (metacpan, github, ...?) formats, too.

The metrics are implemented in the Module-CPANTS-Analyse distribution; redirecting this ticket to that queue.

Fixed in master: https://github.com/cpants/Module-CPANTS-Analyse/commit/397a3ba58f2d86613f15449dd0f3d0aaec3c8191 FYI, has_readme only sees if a distribution has README or its equivalent. It doesn't matter in which format it's written.
